What I do

What I do

As a Maxillofacial Prosthodontist, I see and treat many patients needing complex prosthodontic reconstruction / rehabilitation. I practice fixed (veneers, crowns, bridges), removable (dentures) and implant (surgery and restoration) prosthodontics for partial and full mouth rehabilitation.

I spend most of my time in direct clinical patient care at Northwest Dental Reconstructions (Private Practice). I am also the Provincial Practice Leader in Prosthodontics at BC Cancer (Hospital Practice) and a part-time Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia, where I coordinate and teach the Maxillofacial Prosthodontics curriculum for dentistry students and residents.

"I like helping others by listening to their concerns, reviewing and explaining their clinical situations, and working with them to help achieve their goals and regain their self-confidence."

Initial consultation & understanding your concerns

We will meet in our consultation room to review and understand all your concerns. A clinical examination is then performed after which we will review your clinical findings and discuss possible treatment options. For simple cases, a treatment plan can be finalized the day of the consult.

For complex cases, additional diagnostics (e.g. x-rays and study models) are required. After thorough review of all your diagnostic information, we will meet for a treatment planning session to review your treatment options.

Depending on the complexity of the case, some patients need long-term follow-up. Initial follow-up is done with me to ensure you are comfortable after the rehabilitation. After this, patients return for regular follow-up care with their general dentist.
